Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnose, and treat patients and families for emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist patients and families in coping with hospitalization and illness. Document assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental guidelines. Maintain a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license and hold a Master's degree in counseling. Work full-time day shifts at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
