Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients and families to address emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans utilizing crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and consult on coping strategies. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
