Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive intervention plans while providing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support discharge planning and assist patients in coping with illness and hospitalization. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions in accordance with departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in direct therapy and crisis intervention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
