Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments to identify problems requiring decision-making adjustments. Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Provide discharge planning and consultation to patients and families regarding hospitalization, illness, and substance abuse disorders. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective. Document assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Maintain required Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure and Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
