Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies alongside grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and consultation regarding hospitalization and illness. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in direct assessment and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
