Behavioral Health Counselor - Outpatient, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families to address emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies alongside grief and bereavement support. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and provide leadership in mental therapy perspectives. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions in accordance with departmental and hospital guidelines. Maintain a full-time day shift schedule in The Dalles, Oregon, while holding a required Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license and a Master's degree in counseling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
