Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning and crisis intervention. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective and document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, this full-time day shift role is part of Adventist Health Columbia Gorge's outpatient services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
