Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement support. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and provide leadership in representing a professional counseling perspective. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and health system guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
