Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning and crisis intervention. Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies for emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to lead professional counseling perspectives and document all assessments, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in direct assessment and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
