Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families addressing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Deliver crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans and participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Located in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
