Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans and deliver crisis intervention alongside brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support discharge planning and assist clients in coping with hospitalization and illness. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and hospital guidelines. Maintain a Master's degree in counseling or equivalent experience and hold a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
