Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning. Formulate and implement comprehensive plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and hospital guidelines. Maintain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, hold a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license, and possess three years of experience including crisis intervention. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, this full-time day shift role is part of Adventist Health Columbia Gorge's outpatient services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
