Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning and crisis intervention. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective and document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Maintain required Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status and Bachelor's or Master's degree. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the community since 1901.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
