Behavioral Health Counselor - Outpatient, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with discharge planning and consult on coping strategies. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Maintain a full-time day shift schedule in The Dalles, Oregon, while holding a required Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license and a Master's degree in counseling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
