Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Deliver crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including grief and bereavement work. Formulate comprehensive intervention plans and document all assessments, interactions, and treatments per departmental guidelines while participating in multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Requires a Master's Degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in direct assessment and therapy. Full-time day shift employment at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
