Behavioral Health Counselor - Outpatient, Full Time, Day Shift

Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive intervention plans while providing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support discharge planning and assist clients in coping with illness and diagnosis. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental guidelines. Maintain Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure and required vaccinations as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
