Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients and families facing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive care strategies utilizing crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient coping during hospitalization, illness, and treatment. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions in accordance with departmental and health system guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience including crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
