Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing discharge planning and crisis intervention. Formulate comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies for emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a professional counseling perspective and document all assessment plans and interventions per hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in direct therapy and crisis intervention. Full-time day shift position with mandatory vaccinations and E-Verify compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
