Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families managing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Formulate and implement comprehensive intervention plans utilizing brief, long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, including crisis intervention and grief work. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support discharge planning and patient coping strategies while documenting all interactions per departmental guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
