Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients and families addressing emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders. Deliver crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, along with grief and bereavement support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist clients in coping with hospitalization, illness, and diagnosis while refining decision-making processes. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions in accordance with departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
