Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients and families while managing crisis intervention and grief work. Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing individual, marital, family, and group therapies. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to represent a counseling-based mental therapy perspective and assist with discharge planning. Document all assessment plans, interactions, and interventions per departmental and hospital guidelines. Requires a Master's degree in counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status, and three years of experience in crisis intervention and therapy. Full-time day shift position based in The Dalles, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Three years' experience to include crisis intervention, individual and group therapy
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, treatment intervention and education to members and/or family members
