Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will provide support and counseling to individuals and groups facing mental health, substance abuse, and emotional challenges. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, conducting individual, family, and group counseling, treatment planning, maintaining session notes, and meeting productivity standards while working as part of an integrated team. The ideal candidate must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field and be eligible for licensure within 18 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in a mental health or social work related field
- Eligible for license within 18 months of hire (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC-P, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- One year of direct service, post-graduate experience preferred
- Demonstrates a knowledge base for direct clinical service
