Job Summary
Provides behavioral health services to pediatric patients and families within a Team-Based Care Model. Core duties include mental health risk assessment, evidence-based therapy, safety planning, and collaboration with medical providers and other team members. The role requires licensure in Wisconsin in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology, a relevant Master’s degree (or PhD/PsyD) with post-master’s hours, and 2 years post-licensure or equivalent pediatric experience. Travel between Children’s Wisconsin clinics may be required. Preferred licensure in additional evidence-based practices and experience with diverse pediatric populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling or related field from an accredited program
- plus 3000 hours post Master’s experience, or PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program
- Social Worker licensed in Wisconsin OR Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Wisconsin OR Professional Counselor licensed in Wisconsin OR Psychologist licensed in Wisconsin
- 2 years post-licensure experience OR 2 years supervised experience with 3,000 hours may be considered in lieu of 2 years-post licensure
