Job Summary
Provides behavioral health services to pediatric patients and families within a team-based integrated care setting at Children’s Wisconsin, performing mental health risk assessments, screenings, trauma-informed and evidence-based therapies, safety planning, and care coordination. Collaborates with medical providers, social work, nurses, psychiatrists, and community partners; offers consultation to the care team, refers for higher levels of care when indicated, and contributes to educational materials and program documentation. Requires a Master’s or higher in a relevant field with substantial post-master’s experience and relevant Wisconsin licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling or related field from an accredited program, plus 3000 hours post Master’s experience
- Terminal Degree (PhD, MD, etc.) or PsyD from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program
- 2+ years post-licensure experience required or Licensed providers with 2 years of supervised experience working with children and families while obtaining 3,000 hours may be considered in lieu of 2 years-post licensure requirement
- Clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Licenses and Certifications: one of the following licenses in Wisconsin: Psychologist, Social Worker Clinical, MFT, or LPC
