Job Summary
Behavioral Health Consultants will work as an integral part of a primary care team, utilizing the Primary Care Behavioral Health model. The role involves providing brief, focused assessments and interventions for a variety of behavioral health concerns and collaborating with primary care providers. Responsibilities include conducting risk and safety assessments, documenting interventions promptly, and participating in training and supervision for psychology trainees. Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team are essential. A doctorate in psychology and licensure as a psychologist are required, along with prior pediatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in psychology with focus on child, adolescent, or early development
- Completion of an internship in an APA or CPA accredited psychology program
- Licensed Psychologist
- Prior pediatric experience
