Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Responsibilities include triage, obtaining health histories and vital signs, administering prescribed medications and treatments, documenting in medical records, educating patients and families, coordinating with physicians and other health team members, and participating in multidisciplinary care processes to improve outcomes. Shift is Night PRN at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT, with emphasis on adherence to established standards, protocols, and patient confidentiality. The role requires standing, lifting, mobility, and ability to navigate busy clinical environments, along with compliance with licensure and health-care regulations. BSN is preferred but not required; ongoing professional practices and quality assurance activities are included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ACLS) is required
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
