Job Summary
Behavioral Health Coach essential duties include providing individualized behavioral interventions in home and community settings, supporting youth and families in managing behaviors affecting daily functioning and stability, collaborating with families and treatment teams, and assisting in reducing behaviors that may lead to higher levels of care. Role involves completing agency-standard documentation, attending weekly team meetings, traveling to client homes and community locations, and maintaining professional communication. Schedule typically between 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM with flexible full-time or part-time options; requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a valid California driver’s license, ability to pass background clearance, and strong documentation and organizational skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Master’s degree)
- Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Background clearance requirements
- Proficient with basic computer systems (Word, Outlook, Excel, electronic documentation systems)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
