Job Summary
School-based Behavioral Health Clinician provides clinical behavioral health services within the CAHC, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to support student health and well-being. The role expects the BHC to conduct 7+ behavioral health consultations per clinical day, work between locations as needed, and adhere to health-center policies while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric and adolescent populations in a school setting. Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work or related field, 2 years of mental health experience, active Michigan licensure (LCSW, licensed psychologist, LPC, or equivalent doctoral degree in psychology), and BLS certification; knowledge of primary care integration is strongly recommended; CAABC/substance use experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in social work or related field
- 2 years' experience with mental health
- Current license to practice in Michigan as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Doctoral degree in psychology
- Must maintain BLS certification
- CAABC/substance use experience preferred
