Job Summary
Homebased Behavioral Health Clinician provides individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy and support services to children with severe emotional disturbance and their families. Conducts clinical assessments, develops diagnoses, and participates in developing person/family-centered treatment plans with client families. Monitors client progress and coordinates appropriate behavioral health and other needed services. Responsible for meeting all MDCH requirements for Home-based hours (minimum 4 hours per family per month). Maintains electronic and paper charts with required documentation. Participates in individual supervision and team meetings to review progress, identify barriers and develop strategies for better assisting families in reaching their goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology with a temporary limited license (TLLP) or LLP or LP from Michigan DOCIS (grandfathered only) or Master’s degree in Social Work with LLMSW or LMSW from Michigan DOCIS, or Master’s degree in Counseling with LLPC or LPC from Michigan DOCIS, AND valid driver’s license
