Job Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician II (Licensed LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) at Indio Crisis Walk-In Center for a Part-Time & Per Diem role. Provide rapid behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term stabilization for youth, adults, and families in a 24/7 walk-in center. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe discharge planning, care coordination, and referrals to outpatient services. In-person presence required at the Indio, CA site; CA-licensed clinicians with 1–3+ years of relevant experience; day and night shifts with differential pay where eligible; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; experience with trauma-informed and culturally responsive care is valued. Compensation ranges from $58 to $72 per hour plus applicable differentials, with final pay based on experience and scope of role. This role emphasizes crisis response, safety planning, documentation, and continuous quality improvement within a high-acuity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed LCSW, LPCC or LMFT in California
- 1–3+ years of experience providing behavioral health services, crisis intervention, or counseling
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing acute distress, including mental health crises and/or substance use challenges
- Strong crisis de-escalation, assessment, and stabilization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts within minimum expectations for daytime, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability
