Job Summary
Provide evidence-based culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing behavioral, emotional, and mental disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, and crisis intervention. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with established policies. Clinicians not yet licensed will receive necessary supervision. Additional requirements include timely completion of documentation, adherence to patient confidentiality, and participation in staff and training meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline from an accredited educational institution
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred
- Alaska State Chemical Dependency Counselor I or MAC certificate or equivalent preferred
Additional Requirements
- Clinicians who are not yet licensed will receive clinical supervision to ensure appropriate delivery of behavioral health services
- Once licensure is obtained it is a requirement to keep it current for the duration of employment
