Job Summary

Provide psychiatric risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention to patients and families in the Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments as a member of the emergency/acute care clinical team. Serve as a Clinical Assessment Specialist with a master's degree and relevant licensure, delivering care in Anchorage. Work full-time, 0.9 FTE, variable shifts totaling 36 hours per week. Complete National Provider BLS training within 30 days of hire.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or other related field
  • Ph.D in Psychology or other related field
  • Alaska Masters Social Worker License
  • Alaska Clinical Social Worker License
  • Alaska Psychologist License
  • Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License
  • Alaska Professional Counselor License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years Clinical experience in the mental health field
  • Variable shift
  • 36 hours per week
