Job Summary
Provide psychiatric risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention to patients and families in the Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments. Serve as a licensed professional on the emergency/acute care clinical team to implement care plans. Requires a master's degree in social services or psychology, an Alaska clinical license, three years of mental health experience, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or other related field
- Ph.D in Psychology or other related field
- Alaska Masters Social Worker License
- Alaska Clinical Social Worker License
- Alaska Psychologist License
- Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License
- Alaska Professional Counselor License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 3 years Clinical experience in the mental health field
