Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for patients and families in the Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments. Serve as a licensed professional on the emergency/acute care clinical team to deliver mental health services. Requires a master's degree in social services, three years of clinical mental health experience, and a relevant Alaska license upon hire. Includes National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Full-time, 0.9 FTE, variable shift schedule of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or other related field
- Ph.D in Psychology or other related field
- Alaska Masters Social Worker License
- Alaska Clinical Social Worker License
- Alaska Psychologist License
- Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License
- Alaska Professional Counselor License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 3 years Clinical experience in the mental health field
- Variable shift
