Job Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician will engage individuals empathically and implement integrated strength-based assessments for behavioral health issues. Responsibilities include providing intensive stabilization services, conducting psychotherapy, and performing case management functions. The role requires maintaining treatment documentation, supporting individuals with medication needs, and traveling to various locations to provide care. Candidates must have relevant licensure and training, and will collaborate with other providers to ensure continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Hold licensure as a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP), Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW), or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC)
- Must meet qualifications of a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) per the Michigan PIHP/CMHSP Provider Qualifications per Medicaid Services
- Must possess a valid motor vehicles license in the State of Michigan with valid auto insurance coverage
- Must maintain 24 hours child diagnostic treatment services training requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for psychiatric and substance use disorders
- Knowledge of principles of trauma informed care
