Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and families while completing comprehensive behavioral health and clinical assessments. Assess for mental health, substance use, psychiatric symptoms, and acute safety needs to deliver intensive stabilization and crisis intervention services. Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and help clients identify triggers for relapse prevention. Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, schools, and community providers to coordinate care, support medication needs, and participate in team huddles. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide trauma-informed care throughout Oakland County. Requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling, current Michigan licensure, and at least one year of experience working with children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- current Michigan licensure or limited licensure (LLPC/LPC, LLMSW/LMSW, or TLLP/LLP/LP)
- valid driver's license
- current auto insurance
- at least one year of experience working with children and families in a behavioral health or human services setting
- comfortable working in various community-based settings
- traveling between locations

- Provide intensive stabilization and crisis intervention services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress
- Help individuals identify behavioral and emotional triggers and develop crisis and relapse prevention plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, schools, community providers, and other professionals to coordinate care
- Support individuals with medication-related needs and provide education as appropriate
- Participate in team huddles and multidisciplinary consultation
- Provide trauma-informed care to children and families impacted by trauma
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with funding and organizational requirements
- Travel throughout Oakland County and surrounding areas to provide services
