Job Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician coordinates with the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The role completes behavioral health assessments and service plans for all individuals admitted to assigned programs, documents provided services, and coordinates discharges. Collaborates with the family or other significant others and communicates with Patient Care Technicians, RNs, and Behavioral Health Medical Providers to ensure a safe environment and quality care. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health; Master’s Degree preferred; licensure with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners is preferred for associate-level licensure as psychologist, social worker, counselor, marriage and family therapist, or substance abuse counselor. 1-3 years of full-time healthcare-related experience is preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health
- Master’s Degree is preferred but not required
- Licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor
- 1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience (preferred but not required)
