Job Summary
Coordinate behavioral health unit nursing functions across shifts, directing and evaluating nursing care, serving as a resource for staff, and aligning with policies to support high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. Responsible for admission/discharge throughput, staff scheduling, training and development, performance evaluations, and ensuring productivity and inventory/ supplies management. Collaborates with management and subject-matter experts to drive teamwork, engages in service recovery when needed, and supports implementation of nursing strategies to improve engagement and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
