Job Summary
Clinical leadership of Avail Health's Comprehensive Behavioral Health Care Program with direct patient care and leadership of a multidisciplinary team. Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for Medicare-age adults and seniors, supervise and develop behavioral health staff, establish clinical standards and workflows, support quality initiatives, and contribute to technology-enabled care delivery. Role combines clinical care for adults and seniors with program development, clinical oversight, and leadership of Psychiatric NPs, Therapists, and Care Managers; focus includes geriatric psychiatry, dementia-related behaviors, telehealth delivery, and scalable care programs.
Required Qualifications
- MSN or DNP from an accredited PMHNP program
- Board Certification as a PMHNP
- Active, unrestricted California PMHNP license
- Ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Minimum five years of psychiatric practice experience
- Experience treating adults and/or seniors with complex behavioral health conditions
- Experience providing care through telehealth
- Prior people leadership, supervision, or clinical management experience
- Experience improving workflows, programs, quality initiatives, or care delivery models
- Strong comfort with technology-enabled clinical care
