Behavioral Health Clinic Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and coordinate treatment for individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services at Konza Prairie Community Health Center. Partner closely with providers in an integrated care model to support whole-person care and improve patient outcomes while building meaningful relationships with patients. This role includes up to 200 hours of paid time off, nine paid holidays, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, alongside medical, dental, and vision insurance. The position offers a schedule with no nights or weekends, with clinics closing at 2:00 PM every Friday. Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted Kansas LPN license and BLS certification, with experience in family practice, behavioral health, or substance use disorder treatment preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Current immunization record meeting ACIP Healthcare Worker recommendations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or emergency situations.
Desired Qualifications
- 5 or more years of nursing experience in Family Practice, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder treatment.
- Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and behavioral health populations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
