Job Summary
Charge Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health providing direct patient care using nursing theories to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in accordance with standards. Requires RN licensure in the applicable state and basic resucitation certifications; role includes day shift with a 3-weekend-per-month schedule and responsibilities across acute behavioral health care, including assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required by position/unit
- Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; bend/kneel/twist/squat bills as necessary
