Behavioral Health Case Manager I - URC & Mobile Crisis

Job Summary
Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, helping them regain stability and begin recovery. Perform comprehensive case management tasks including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up for consumers of all ages. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure clients access necessary care and services while navigating their recovery journey. Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions with clients and ODMHSAS staff. This role requires full-time coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week with varying hours and potential weekend or overtime assignments.
Required Qualifications
- A high school degree or equivalent, from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the United States Department of Education
- 6 months of direct, documented experience working with persons who live with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals in crisis
- Experience in behavioral health or a related field
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- A strong commitment to providing compassionate care
- A commitment to maintaining ethical standards in a professional environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work 24 hours, 7 days per week coverage
