Job Summary
Provide personal care services to patients under clinical direction, ensuring their well-being in a supportive environment. Conduct safety checks every 15 minutes, document clinical information accurately, and assist with activities of daily living including toileting, bathing, and meals. Observe patient behaviors, communicate significant observations to nursing staff, and facilitate educational groups on social skills and coping strategies. Obtain vital signs, engage patients in treatment goal activities, and coordinate transportation as assigned. Resolve patient complaints promptly while maintaining a positive, empathetic attitude. Requires CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification
- First aid
Desired Qualifications
- Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility
