Job Summary
Assist members in meeting expressed goals toward crisis resolution and maintaining wellness while living in the community. Empower clients to make informed decisions regarding mental health treatment by modeling recovery language and supporting meaningful role development. Safely transport members and passengers to appointments and activities using a personal vehicle with a clean driving record. Provide prompt intervention during crises and deliver on-the-spot counseling consistent with program philosophy. Complete intake processes, perform hourly head counts, and manage paperwork as assigned. Attend to the health, safety, and well-being of members while adhering to organizational policies. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with an at-will status.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation
- Less than two (2) years of varied experience providing direct mental health services
- California driver's license
- Current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles
