Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Behavioral Health Associate I assists members in achieving their personal goals while living in the community. Responsibilities include providing direct mental health services, advocating for members, coordinating between clients and healthcare providers, facilitating community communication, maintaining client records, and ensuring client safety and well-being. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of less than two years of relevant experience. Candidates must also have a California driver's license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or an accredited GED program
- Less than two (2) years full-time equivalent experience providing direct mental health services.
- California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old.
Desired Qualifications
- Working at least two (2) but less than four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience providing direct mental health services.
