Job Summary
Conduct safety checks at 15-minute intervals and document timely clinical information in patient records. Assist patients with activities of daily living including toileting, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Obtain vital signs, facilitate educational groups on coping skills, and engage patients in activities designed to achieve treatment goals. Observe patient behaviors, communicate significant observations to nursing staff, and resolve complaints when needs are not met. Provide transportation or coordinate with staff as assigned. Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude while ensuring patient safety and a supportive environment. Work part-time day shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm, three weekdays plus every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification
- First aid
Desired Qualifications
- Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility
