Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Advocate provides assessment and brief therapeutic interventions for program participants with behavioral health concerns, builds client-centered therapeutic relationships, and offers holistic supportive services to aid professional and personal development. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering psychoeducation, facilitating groups when applicable, identifying community resources, coordinating external referrals, and maintaining confidential, well-documented participant case notes in accordance with program standards and licensure/ethics. The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field with 2-3 years of clinical experience, strong documentation skills, flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Firm grasp of ethical expectations and ability to maintain ethical standards
  • Experience with counseling individuals and families

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
