Job Summary

Build trusting relationships with residents through mentorship and guidance to foster personal growth, emotional regulation, and independence. Plan and lead group activities such as beach excursions, scenic drives, and community explorations while connecting clients with volunteer opportunities and local clubs. Assist residents in setting meaningful goals, monitor program participation for safety, provide crisis intervention, and document progress in compliance with standards. Participate in staff meetings and training to stay current on best practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work, two years of residential experience, and a valid driver's license. Sunday through Tuesday 3:00pm - 11:30pm, $21.00 per hour, part-time.

Required Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • clean driving record eligible for company-paid auto insurance
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • At least two years in a residential setting, mental health facility, or related field
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions
