Behavioral Health Admissions Nurse-nightshift

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and initial treatment plans for clients presenting to Emergency Screening for substance abuse and mental health intervention. Monitor vital signs, evaluate for medical emergencies prior to admission, and verify medical stability by reviewing faxed referrals from area hospitals. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, APRN on-call, and physicians to address emergency medication needs, administer ETO's, and manage clients in seclusion or restraints. Ensure Recovery Support Technicians accurately perform BAL and UDS testing while providing training on client body searches and safety protocols. Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record. Requires active Florida RN license, BLS certification, and Level 2 background check.
