Job Summary
Behavioral Coordinator (BCCP) position focusing on supporting facilities and the Department in identifying and monitoring residents for the Behaviorally Complex Care Program, auditing behavioral documentation, and tracking behaviors to inform approval decisions. Responsibilities include interviewing caregivers, observing and documenting behaviors, assessing intervention effectiveness, collaborating with facility teams to integrate behavioral health services, maintaining compliant documentation, and facilitating referrals to specialized services. Requires participation in clinical training, in-person facility rounding with nursing staff, adherence to CMS guidelines, and travel to assigned nursing facilities. Hybrid work arrangement with in-field and administrative work-from-home duties. Must stay current with training and regulatory requirements and participate in investigations/audits as needed. Travel to nursing facilities is required. Education preference includes associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field; high school diploma or equivalent is required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum of (2) years of experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
